Hobiedave bracket is specifically designed to adapt the 508-type compressor with the correct fit and alignment.  The bracket comes with instructions for installation and a list of required hardware, which is commonly available in hardware stores.  Specifically for1968 thru 1976 BMW 2002 or BMW 1600.
